Rasanya peminat Korea mesti tahu kan Gyeran-Ppang tu? It's a famous street snack dekat Korea sana.
Gyeran-Ppang ni actually roti telur je. Tapi bukan roti telur yang roti gardenia salut telur pastu goreng tu. Roti telur yang korang order kat mamak tu pun bukan.  Ni macam loaf yang dipecahkan telur diatasnya. Dimakan panas-panas kat sana.

Okay, masukkan Korea dalam bucket list untuk travel nanti. Hewhewhew

Macam biasa, bila dah nampk sedap macam tu, mula la tekak perut semua teringin. Terus google resepi. Then I found an easy recipe at Maangchi website. Ingredients dia sangat senang and memang dah sedia ada kat rumah. So ape lagi..gegaslah ke dapur.

Ni bahan-bahannya;

½ cup tepung gandum
½ cup susu segar
1 tbs melted butter
1 tsp baking powder
3 tbs gula
1 biji telur
Secubit garam
1 tsp vanilla extract
Cheese - optional

Cara²nya

1. Campurkan tepung, susu, butter, baking powder, gula, vanilla extract, telur dan garam kedalam mangkuk yang sesuai dan kacau sehingga sebati and smooth.

2. Preheat oven dengan suhu 200°C.

3. Sapukan butter /cooking oil pada mini loaf pan or muffin pan. Well, aku pakai muffin paper cup je.

4. Tuangkan sedikit kedalam acuan. Sikit je dulu..then letakla cheese kemudian tuang lagi sikit adunan tadi.

5. Then pecahkan telur atas dia. Aku tabur lagi cheese atas telur tu weh. Dasar berlemak betul. Miahahaha.

6. Then bakar la selama 13-15minit. Oven aku kena bakar 18 minit. So, korang kena pandai² la adjust masa. Kalau belum masak, tambah la seminit dua lagi k.

Done! Hasilnya memang fluffy, not too sweet tapi it's a comfort breakfast snack ..emmm nyumsss. Gyeran-Ppang ni kena makan panas-panas tau. Baru layan. Kalau taknak letak cheese pun okay dah. Boleh jugak letak chicken bacon, hotdog, any fruits, choc chips, nutella ke..ikut selera korang la. 
Oh ye, aku gantikan white sugar dengan brown sugar. So hasil dia jadi warna chocolate bukan golden yellow. Sedap jua. Tadi buat ni as breakfast, disertai dengan kopi panas. Layannnnn. Heeheheh.

Assalamualaikum




Hello! Kali ni, nak share resepi bihun goreng yang simple and sedap. Sebab simple, so aku namakannya bihun goreng koboi.

Aku suka sebab dia simple, cukup rasa, tak perlu guna banyak garam dan bahan perasa dan paling penting pedas. Hewhewhew. So kalau tak suka pedas, boleh kurangkan cili padi ye.

Bihun ni sesuai la nak bawak pergi picnic, potluck ..hidangan untuk tetamu yang datang rumah. Bahan-bahan pun tak complicated. Check this out.


Bahan-bahan

Sebungkus bihun - direndam sehingga lembut ( elok direndam semalaman)
Bawang besar - 1 labu
Bawang putih - 6 ulas
Udang kering/ ikan bilis - 3-4 sudu
Cili api - 9-10 biji (less or more)
Fishcake/fishball/udang/sotong/isi ayam
Carrot/cauliflower/sawi
Lada hitam/lada sulah
Sos tiram - optional
Garam

Cara-caranya

1. Kisar/tumbuk bawang besar, bawang putih, cili api, udang kering sehingga lumat.
2. Panaskan minyak, tumiskan bahan yang dikisar sehingga harum.
3. Masukkan sedikit sos tiram and masukkan sedikit air jika terlalu kering dan masukkan udang/sotong and such.
4. Masukkan carrot/sawi etc and kacau sebati.
5. Kemudian, masukkan bihun and kacau sehingga sebati. Tabur sedikit lada hitam dan perasakan dengan garam gula jika perlu.

Done. Taburkan bawang goreng dan daun bawang. Hidangkan bersama cili potong kicap.


NOTA:
Jika gunakan fish cake atau fish ball, goreng dahulu. Minyak hasil gorengan boleh digunakan untuk menumis bahan kisar.

Jika gunakan daging, rebus daging hingga empuk. Air rebusan daging boleh digunakan untuk rasa yang lebih asli and ummph.

Basuh dan rendam seketika udang kering untuk kurangkan rasa masin kemudian toskan airnya.

Jika bihun masih lagi keras, boleh jiruskan dengan air panas. Tetapi jangan sampai bihun terlalu lembut. Nanti masa nak goreng takut bihun tu hancur pulak.

It was a hot sunny day. 
Punyalah rasa bahang panas tu.
Rumah aku dah macam sauna.
Lepak depan kipas pun boleh rasa bahang panas tu.
Lepas mandi pun, berpeluh balik. (ToT)


That day, aku tak tahan sangat, aku pergi dapur didihkan air. Tekad nak buat aiskrim! Memandangkan Milo pun ada kat pantry, so marilah buat Aiskrim Milo!

Sini, Malaysia tengah viral Aiskrim Sumi & Aiskrim Choki-Choki. Memang nampak cantik dipandang, tapi aku tak suka sangat plus aku pemalas jua. Miahahaha. Susah kot nak buat. Aku pulak tak suka fancy sangat. Just simple. Sekadar nak sejukkan tekak.

Gagahkan diri buat time tengahari buta, lepas tu kena tunggu at least 2,3 jam jugak nak bagi dia sejuk suam. Pastu baru la boleh masukkan dalam plastik aiskrim. Ikat ketat-ketat, then biarkan dalam suhu bilik before masukkan dalam freezer. Maka, esoknya lah boleh makan pun.

Esoknya, pagi-pagi lagi aku dah melantak 2 batang aiskrim. Ya rabbi. Nikmat gila. Aiskrim milo ni gebu gebas weh. Sebab aku tak buat manis sangat, so tak la muak makan banyak-banyak. Ahahahah (。・ω・。)


Kalau ada yang nak try, ni resepinya,


1200ml air
Serbuk Milo/coklat 4 senduk
Susu pekat 1½ senduk
Plastik aiskrim


Didihkan air sehingga air betul-betul mengelegak, then masukkan serbuk milo dan kacau sehingga larut. Kemudian masukkan susu pekat dan kacau sebati dan tutup api. Tunggu sehingga sejuk before masukkan ke dalam plastik aiskrim. Aku pakai plastik aiskrim jenama King Kong. Dia lebih panjang and lebih kenyal. So senang nak ikat.


Oh ya, nanti pepandai la adjust tahap kemanisan yang korang nak ok. Aku tak letak gula sebab dalam milo dah ada gula, dalam susu pekat tu pun ada gula.
Aku tak nak dia manis sangat takut muak nanti.


Tips: Air kena betul² mendidih, baru la aiskrim korang gebu and rangup gitu. Tak keras kejung. Ahahahah

There's one day, someone asking me this,

"How to motivate yourself to cook?"

Hmm. Hard Qs it is. Because I have no answer for it. It comes naturally and maybe yeah, because I live far from my mom. And no one can cook me delicious nyums like her. NO ONE.

I remembered during that day when I was very young and single, instant noodles and I, we are BFFs. Because it is so easy to cook. The best luxury Maggie Mee I've ever cooked was with prawns, squids, chili padis and a couple of eggs. Ahahahaha.

And or, I just go to any good restaurants, stalls, mamak to tapau. If you're unlucky, they will give you bad stomach ache or headache because of the price, like seketul ayam goreng, & nasi without sayur for RM7? Demm mahal.

And wait, how bout cravings? If you really want to eat yummy soto ayam  like ur mom's and you can't find one. So sad.

So, I think those are my reasons to start cooking.

I should mention that I have no technical training in cooking and have never cooked properly at home before. Fyi, my version of nasi gorengpreviously was nasi+kicap+telur only. No bawang, no tumis whatsoeva. Ahahaahhaha.Yes, I sucked at that.

I think, My biggest accomplishment in the kitchen is that I enjoy being there—it's my favorite room in the house..and my workspace..sometimes. Mihmihmih.

Okay, Im here to convince you that cooking is way easier than you think, and fun too! Trust me.

And what you have to do is get started. So let's do that!


First, subscribe or follow any cooking group in your social media, be it on Facebook, websites or my blog. Ehems. There are many delicious and tempting recipe there, and simple too. 


Get your list of your fave recipe? Then, it's time to draft your menu plan. You can print out your list of menu by weekly or monthly, put in the kitchen. Or just use the apps on your phone. Find something you love to eat or get your parents/husband/children/family/friends/loved ones involved by asking them what foods they like. Less stress & less drama mind you. Hahahaha.





Done planning! Now, make a shopping list. My husband and I, we shop for groceries on a monthly and weekly basis. For our monthly shopping, we just buy dry supplies like rice, cooking oil etc and for the weekly ones, we shop for wet and fresh groceries.

 “Doesn’t all that planning take a lot of time?” Frankly, it doesn’t take that much time at all, it saves us from making multiple grocery store visits in a week and saves our money too.Oh ya, you can also try for the groceries delivery! Save your time esp when you're a mom with 2,3 young kids. Savings on time, petrol and impulse buys are worth it, and it's so convenient. As far as I know, Tesco provides the delivery service. Check this out.

Buy yourself a new toy. New kitchen gadgets are exciting and fun, and usually pretty inexpensive. I love to browse the kitchen aisle at Daiso and Mr Diy- so many cute things! Lots of colorful can opener, knife, potato peeler etc. It delights me, every time. Being happy in the kitchen is important, you want it to be your happy place so that you enjoy being there.

Don't overestimate yourself. You need to be realistic with yourself. If you're busy working mom/wife/woman or man too, i dont judge, plan to cook nasi briyani gam & kari kepala kambing during weekdays is not REALISTIC la oi. Unless you have maid. Yes. Or superpower which i guess u dont. Stick to something quick & easy to do with during the weekdays.Save your menu of Kari Kepala Kambing or Rusa Panggang for the weekend or when you have plenty of time to work on it. Ahahahah.


Think of all the benefits of cooking. By this I mean both nutritionally, and financially. Your home cooked is prepared with love, nutritious and tasty. No MSG. Not oily. Save your money. No need to spend over RM10 each day just for lunch. Happy tummy, happy pocket too. :)




Oh ya, during my working days, I have no time and no energy to cook for tomorrow's lunch box. So, on weekend I prepared my ready-made chili paste. I just blend the dried chili, onion, garlic and prawn paste (belacan) mix with some oil. Then I keep it in the fridge. It could lasts for up to 2 weeks. It helps a lot though. 

Ok, now your pantry and fridge is stocked with everything you need. This is when cooking gets fun; this is when you get to jam. You now are prepared to cook anything on any given night, in under an mere hour. I highly encourage you to do this, then do it again, and again. You'll get better every time, and more efficient. Practice makes perfect


You are the master of your own culinary destiny now. Go forth and cook.

Kalau on phone dengan mak, soalan typical yang MESTI aku tanya adalah,

"Mak masak apa hari ni?"

Ahahaha. Macam biasa..jawapan mak semuanya buat air liur meleleh bayangkan kesedapannya. Rasa nak terbang balik Kedah sana.

Ni baru² ni mak bagitau Tok, Pakngah & Makteh sekeluarga datang lunch kat rumah then mak masak sup tulang, sambal udang harimau, sambal tempoyak, tenggiri masam goreng bawang and cili and siput lala masak cili api!

Maigad. Dapnye *telan air liur
Siput Lala Masak Lemak Cili Api mak memang terbaik dalam dunia! 


Sabtu tu pergi pasar borong, jumpa orang jual siput lala frozen, sebungkus tu sekilo rasanya dalam RM7. Beli jelah. Balik rumah, terus WhatsApp mak mintak resepi. Ahahaha. ヘ( ̄ω ̄ヘ)

Haritu dengan kekuatan and ehems.. rajin yang jarang ada, aku masak siput lala masak lemak cili api, pucuk paku goreng dengan cendawan sisir, sambal hijau and ikan tenggiri masam goreng bawang and cili. Phewww..

Tam sengih sampai ke telinga la tengok siput lala dalam periuk. Pastu nak curi² ratah (¬_¬)


Perangai.

Okay, since ramai yang tanya resepi, aku share k. Ni resepi mak aku. Macam biasa dia tak bagi ratio yang lengkap, so aku sesedap rasa la letak ratio bahannya.(^_^;)

Bahan²

Siput lala - 1kg
Cili api - 7-10biji less or more ikut selera
Bawang besar - 1 labu
Bawang putih - 3 ulas
Halia - 1 inci
Kunyit hidup - 2 inci
Serai - sebatang diketuk
Santan
Asam keping sekeping
Garam
Gula

Cara²

1. First, basuh bersih² siput lala tu. Hilangkan kotoran and lumpur.

2. Blend atau tumbuk halus bawang besar, cili api, bawang putih, kunyit hidup and halia.

3. Panaskan minyak and tumis bahan yang ditumbuk tadi sehingga wangi.

4. Kemudian masukkan serai yang diketuk beserta asam keping dan kacau.

5. Masukkan garam dan gula secukup rasa dan masukkan siput lala tadi. Kacau sehingga rata kemudian masukkan santan dan kacau rata.

6. Tambah air jika ia agak kering. Dan biarkan smpai mendidih kejap. Tutup api.


Done. Simple. And sedap. My husband, Tam makan sampai hirup kuah. Kuah dia lemak pedas dengan rasa manis siput lala tu.. Perghhh.

Oh ye, aku namakan resepi ni Siput Lala Yuna Masak Lemak Cili Api sebab sambil masak siput lala tu aku dok nyanyi lagu Yuna ft Usher, Crush.

But babe, when I'm with you, I hear it,

A delicious combination of Chicken Pot Pie and Shepherd's Pie.

I was trying to decide between chicken pot pie and Shepherd’s pie for tomorrow lunch box and I decided, Hey, why not have both?!  

Hee, so yeah, here we go my simple easy tasty Chicken Shepherd's Pie.

Bahan²
4tbs unsalted butter
4tbs tepung gandum
3cawan stok ayam
1 cawan carrot yang dipotong memanjang
Isi ayam
Batang saderi dipotong
Lada hitam
Garam
Cooking cream

1. Panaskan pan dan masukkan butter. Kacau sehingga butter cair dan masukkan 4 sudu tepung and kacau sebati.

2. Masukkan stok ayam. ( saya ambil air rebusan isi ayam)dan kacau sebati. 
Masukkan sedikit cooking cream untuk dapat rasa yg ummphh.

3. Masukkan carrot, batang saderi. Boleh jugak masukkan mix veggie. Kacau.

4. Masukkan isi ayam yang telah direbus and kacau sebati. Perasakan dengan garam and lada hitam.

5. Kacau sehingga dapat kepekatan yang anda mahu and biarkan sejuk.

Untuk selera asian macam aku, aku letak
bawang besar yang dicincang, cili api and serbuk cili untuk efek yang lebih pedas.

Mashed potato

Kentang-dbuang kulit dan dipotong empat
Susu
Butter
Bawang putih 3ulas
Garam
Lada hitam
Telur kuning 2biji

Rebuskan kentang sehingga empuk. Tos kan.
Sementara itu, panaskan butter and tumiskan bawang putih yang dicincang sehingga harum.
Lecek/mash kentang tadi dengan butter and bawang putih tadi.
Masukkan susu sedikit demi sedikit, masukkan telur kuning dan kacau sebati.
Perasakan dengan garam and lada hitam.

Di dalam bekas yang sesuai, tuangkan gravy ayam tadi dan ratakan mashed potato diatasnya. Taburkan cheese kalau perlu.
Dengan suhu 200°c , bakar selama 30mins. Done!
Simple and tasty. Nyumssss!

AME or Anugerah Meletop Era. Ada sesiapa ke yang tengok Ahad lepas? Ada yang survive tak tengok sampai habis? Aku demam teruk lepas tengok.


Aku tengok AME and aku ada tengok OSCAR. And jika nak dibandingkan memang tahap langit dan bumi..or more.
Memang tak patut kalau nak dibandingkan dengan anugerah berprestij macam anugerah OSCAR tu. Tapi kalau pihak produksi AME nak membaik pulih kualiti anugerah tu, they must ambik contoh yang baik seperti anugerah OSCAR.


Tema.
Perlu ke tema? Tema yang pelik and jelik. Glamour Futuristic? Yang datang pakai pelik-pelik. Dari host sampai la ke artis yang datang.

OSCAR win: Yang lelaki segak and handsome with their suit, yang perempuan look classy and elegant with their dress.
Well, tak payahla nak cakap kalau dorang pakai dress sexy and daring. Dah nama budaya Barat. Artis Malaysia pun kemain daring jugak masa AME. Dengan rambut putih silver bagai. Wtf ಠ_ಠ

Program kucar kacir.
AME 2016 is the worst setakat ni. Menyesal jugak tengok. Huru hara. Paling tak faham, artis yang menang boleh cakap 5 words only. Kalau lebih, nanti keluar suara alien. Err *facepalm

Oscar wins big time. Setiap penerima anugerah, they give an awesome speech. Meaningful one.



Host.
Anugerah kat Malaysia ni mostly mesti nak bawak kengkawan sampai 4,5 org atas pentas eh? Kalau masing-masing best takpelah. Ni skrip entah pape. Menjerit-jerit nak tarik perhatian apehal ntah. Tak blend langsung.

Oscar hanya ada satu. The funniest one. Skrip terbaik. Takde nak jerit-jerit.
Kalau korang perasan, pelawak-pelawak kat Malaysia yang jadi host ni mostly suka jerit-jerit kan? Attention seeker. Opps sorry.


Penerima anugerah.
Ahahaha. Ni part paling lawak. Tapi yelah, people's choice kan. Suara tak sedap nyanyi live pun boleh menang. Tak faham. Takde kualiti langsung. Kamon Malaysians, please pilih yang bagus sikit. Ke calon-calon pun loser?and Dato Siti je yang best ?

Kesimpulannya, AME ni sejenis anugerah 
syok sendiri. Anugerah Merepek Era. Tahun lepas aku tak tengok, tahun ni tertengok, tahun depan takkan tengok.
Sorry, aku membebel kat sini sebab geram. Geram sebab tertengok anugerah macam tu.
